As we gear up for the new Fall season, there is one thing on our minds – which bag will be the next bag to buy? Well we have pretty much already made up our minds after being introduced to new British brand, Zatchels, who creates gorgeous classic leather satchels in a whole slew of prints, patterns, colors and combos. This season is going to be all about re-inventing the classics, which is why our purchase will most definitely be a traditional yet bold style in the forever updating classic, Black & White. Check out the fabulous Zatchels bags and other great Fall options like classic messenger bags and rich leather backpacks from Visconti from DCH Supplies at PoshbagsUK. Those brits definitely know how its done.
Our favorite French luxury label, Lanvin, introduces their Fall/Winter 2013 collection with a witty new campaign video entitled “Self Portrait” where Edie Campbell explores six sides of her imaginary self, portraying the diversity of the Lanvin woman. Undertaking vanity as the subject, the video juxtaposes the brand’s upscale garb with the inner monologue of the tastemakers who might wear it. The result is a sharp, humorous and of course chic. Perfection.

What does that mean, you might ask? Well, we seriously urge you to run to the site for the full details but the basic rundown goes something like this: Choose an upper, or two or three or ten; Choose a heel, or two or three or ten – mix and match the miraculous parts and voila, you have an entirely new shoe collection and pretty much never need to go shoe shopping again! “And we thought Harper Beckham had it good.
His Royal Highness, Prince of Cambridge, who was welcomed into the world yesterday by Prince William and Kate Middleton (remember her?), will not only get a 41-gun salute today in London (along with 62 shots fired from a canon at the Tower of London), but he’s already got fashion’s most high-profile designers vying to dress him.
WWD asked designers Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Lacroix, Dior, Vera Wang, and more, to sketch some gift ideas for the royal babe (whose name has yet to be announced).
Lacroix sketched an ornate, royal pram, Dior imagined a whole collection of delicate babywear, and Lagerfeld, never one to be afraid to push the limits with his sketches (like that cleavage-bearing maternity dress for K.Midd), envisioned a pacifier in the shape of the crown: “A Royal Dummy” he’s calling it. WWD notes that pacifiers are commonly called dummies in England. We still laughed a little.
Between Lacroix’s over-the-top pram, and Vera Wang’s silver rattle–engraved with HRH, obv–there’s tons of goodies for the future king to enjoy. One question though: Will he stick to his mother’s rule and not accept any designer freebies?” Courtesy of Fashionista

We are seeing chunky metal jewels all over the runways, in the stores and on the streets this season…and while we definitely love the edge, the heavy golds can get a bit redundant. So in seeking out new ways to incorporate this trend in to our wardrobes, we came across KANUPRIYA, an incredible designer that has introduced something totally fresh – TEXTURE. We are absolutely loving the Cobblestone collection, which showcases a unique animal-like print stamped delicately in to Rose Gold & Gold statement pieces like this insanely amazing bib necklace – but you will see a refreshing mix of textures across the entire assortment from Filigree to Finely Carved detailing. Snatch these up while they’re still available at Shopkanupriya.com and definitely keep on eye on this one.

With the sun shining and sandals out in full force, there is a lot of shopping to be done! So we thank Refinery29 for their fabulous guide to the 30 must-have pieces for Spring. Knowing our small obsession with accessories, we obviously chose our faves to feature accordingly but for the whole lot, check out Refinery29!
Today marks the second official day of New York’s Fall 2013 Season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and we were pretty excited to catch up on the collections that kicked off the shows. There are always trends that dominate the runways and we definitely keep a keen eye out to ensure we’re on top of it all but this little craze couldn’t be missed if we tried…especially since this is now it’s second season dominating the catwalk – oh, Oxblood, how we love you so. The deep red hue basically took over the magazine pages just a few months ago, we couldn’t get away from shades of wine, burgundy, maroon and the like – bags, shoes, jewels, furs, leathers – everywhere we turned. Well it appears this baby is still going strong and although the name makes us cringe (Lucky Magazine really nailed it with their “19 Euphemisms for Oxblood“), we have to admit, we’re pretty into you. Especially with BCBG’s laser-cut leather and Yigal’s head-to-toe cape. The unanimous vote on NYFW Trend Takeaway Part 1: Oxblood has our hearts beating harder for sure.
W magazine has come up with a great way to boost newsstand sales, this month: give three hot supermodels their own gorgeous cover, so that the indecisive fashion-obsessed end up buying the March 2013 issue three times. Smart move. Kate Moss, Lara Stone and Natalia Vodianova were each photographed by Mert & Marcus, posing in sultry jewel tones by Prada, Saint Laurent and Burberry Prorsum. Take a look all three W covers and see if you can pick a favorite…
