So many options, so little money…
We have a new addiction and it goes something like this – girl finds Shoes of Prey, girl plays with shoe combinations for hours on end, girl purchases multiple pairs of custom shoes which are pretty much one of a kind, girl feels like a million bucks, life is never the same. Obsessed. The only problem is that we can’t decide which to go with! What’s your fave? Help! Thanks Shoes of Prey, brilliant.

Swoon: Gucci Pre-Fall 2012
Muted makes an amazing comeback Gucci’s fantastic Pre-Fall 2012 Collection from the genius of Frida Giannini. Pansy prints, equestrian inspirations, a very 70’s-esque melding of blushes & browns, yellows & reds – we are absolutely, madly, deeply in love with all of it.

Golden Globes 2012: Color Prevails
The Golden Globes were a bit bland this year we have to admit…the dresses were nice but very few really did dress to impress…we saw tons of black and white and blush and navy, column dresses and mermaid silhouettes, sequins, silk and satin over and over. However, we did notice that those who did rock the red carpet in 2012 packed quite a bunch in daring colors…Dianna Agron blew us away in a lipstick red laser-cut work of art by Giles Deacon, Emma Stone added a bit of rocker glam to her romantic burgundy Lanvin and Madeleine Stowe drew attention to all the right areas in her perfectly tailored purple Vera Wang piece while vivid embellishment amazed us with Mireille Enos stunning in Naeem Khan’s sweeping soft canary yellow beaded beauty and our very favorite Gucci gown turned Evan Rachel Wood from golden girl to exotic bird in the chicest frock of them all. Though the 2012 Golden Globes didn’t quite exite, at least we got a healthy dose of hues this year…lesson learned – have some fun with it ladies, be bold.

Cartier Classics Go Wild!
The moment someone utters the words luxury a few things come to mind, Cartier is always one of them. The brand has not only come to represent high quality design, affluence and opulence in the most fabulous way but has truly embodied the idea of a timeless classic. Though they have mastered everything from wedding bands to stationary, Cartier has always been recognized for one thing and one thing alone, the perfect watch. Their infamous Tank watch, originally designed by Louis Cartier himself in 1917 for American General John Pershing, is the definition of distinguished at its finest. Its lines and proportions are similar to those of tanks found on First World War battlefields; it is both a square and a rectangle, and its straps are concealed under vertical sidepieces creating an illusion of grandeur in the face. Yet it appears that even the model of perfection needs a facelift once in a while, just to be sure that style is always apparent…so Cartier’s classic has gone wild! The tank has been updated with our favorite animals, Leopard and Python, and as though stylish straps weren’t enough, Cartier has changed the face of their timeless watch as well, packing an extra special fashion punch. Definitely feeling the new look & pretty ecstatic to see that even the best oldies can become new again. Check out the full selection of Cartier Watches & enjoy the updates!

Ecstatic over Jason Wu for Target!
It’s impossible to not be excited for Jason Wu’s time capsule collection to be released in Target February 5th. Wu’s first collaboration with a mass retailer is shaping up to be AMAZING. “My goal was not to duplicate anything from my main collection,” Wu says. “Instead I designed completely new clothes and accessories that reflect my taste and have a voice of their own.” Bold and feminine, the line is dripping with nostalgic details that combine top 2012 trends inspired by 60s icon Jean Seberg (and im getting a bit of an Audrey Hepburn vibe that i LOVE.) Chic sailor stripes, girly silhouettes, and pops of delicate spring colors has fans going crazy over the possibilities of shopping the First Lady’s favorite designer’s upcoming affordable collection.
