Our latest obsession has definitely focused on chunky statement necklaces, so when we were introduced to Margaret Elizabeth’s one-of-a-kind collection it was love at first sight. Designer Meg Galligan strings gorgeous semi-precious stones, pearls, and unique beads in heavy strands that sit perfectly on the collarbone and adorns each with vintage brooches that will be found only on the neck of the wearer – talk about making a statement. Though each piece’s unique qualities make it nearly impossible to talk up one over another, we have to say we’re partial to the pieces with double the fun…something about the symmetry, or maybe just the extra dose of glam, either way we know how we’re dressing up our T-shirt tomorrow! Who better than our favorite style chameleon to show us why one great classic can turn in to endless inspiration. Cara Delevigne goes from Boho Rock Chanel to Sporty Chic Chanel in an instant with one spectacular jacket for Elle France.
We were just introduced to Daryl Feril via Trendland, one of our favorite new spots for daily inspiration, and instantly feel in love. “Mixed media illustrator Daryl Feril uses a process of illustration, watercolors and graphic design to exhibit these recognizable fashion labels. Keeping with the aesthetic of each brand Feril represents Chanel’s classic black & white palette, Alexander McQueen with the essence of darkness and romantic elements, which we see from the McQueen label each season, and Yves Saint Laurent with a sophisticated feminine elegance in the soft color palette and flowing lines,” Colette GUSH.
We have always felt as though there are some serious misconceptions on the idea of personal style. Though everyone should have a clear understanding of who they are and what they love when it comes to fashion, that definitely does not mean that your personal style should be categorized, every true fashion lover has had many style moments from bohemian to prim and polished to rock and roll to all american and so on and so forth. And so we’ve decided that those who inspire us most are the world’s true Style Chamelons, icons who are not afraid to take risks and to play with garments, transform themselves with simple ideas, and experiment with the vast array of beauty within this incredible industry. So we bring your our very first Chamelon, the unbelievably beautiful and super chic, Poppy Delevigne.
