Diane Kruger has been a long-time inspiration for us on the fashion front.  She is gorgeous in everything from tuxedo to train, never afraid to take risks and always carries herself with the utmost class in any outfit and every situation.  Yet after years of setting trends, this style star is just now getting some much deserved attention from those outside the industry after turning heads in dress after dress at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival.  From the Mint silk chiffon Giambattista Valli that swept the carpet of opening ceremony to the statement making Christian Dior that made waves at closing…Diane did it right every step of the way and we definitely want to join in to celebrate some of her best looks…gush.

The Jean Jacket is Here to Stay!

Jean jackets are back with a vengeance, they took us from jazzing up polka-dot dresses in pre-school all the way through sprucing up sweatpants in college but once we hit the city streets they wound up in the back of the closet somehow.  Well denim is out in a million different forms this season but the classic jean jacket is back and better than ever.  Some of our favorite style stars show us just how to modernize the look from color-blocked pants to neon maxi dresses this staple sure isn’t goin’ anywhere anytime soon.

Currently Coveting: Nicole Richie’s Look

Nicole Richie has been an ongoing style inspiration and, let’s not kid ourselves, overall obsession, for a while now.  Usually she works her magic on a well executed, super-chic bohemian vibe but recently we caught a glimpse of this polished, glam-rock Antonia Berardi look and fell head over heels, we had to re-create it.  A simple double-breasted blazer compliments over-the-top embellished leggings while basic nude patent pumps are offset with a molten metallic clutch chock full of edge.  Check below for deets on how we’re planning to get NR’s look.
