NYFW Spring 2012 Favorite: Jason Wu

The entire Spring 2012 collection Wu sent down the runway was exquisitely lovely. From the literal bow-ties and sequin collars to the peplum adorned shorts and feminine florals, every piece was perfectly tailored to accentuate a classically chic and stunningly soft woman. Yet it was the bias-cut abundant ruffled ball gown skirt in everything from bubblegum pink to lemon-lime that got us gushing. Quick to reference a clear Oscar influence some might say the pieces have been done before but de la Renta is obviously one of the greats and an opulent, dreamy classic will always be the best in our book. Simply spectacular, now if we only had somewhere to wear one.

Who knew how amazingly inspiring Polyvore could be?  On those days when we find ourselves in leggings and oversized sweaters, too lazy and drained to put ourselves together, we now just hop on Polyvore to become miraculously refreshed & raring to go. Wanted to send a special thanks over to our current Polyvorer obsession, Snickres, who shows us how to perfectly replicate some fab looks down to every last detail.  Love it.
