We Love Short Shorts
The moment the summer sun begins to peek out of the clouds our minds jump straight to our favorite part of warm weather: shorts! Crew announced the launch of their collaboration with Prabal Gurung our hearts skipped a beat…well the 6 piece collection went up for sale today on jcrew.com and oh boy it’s even better than we imagined! Ranging from just $198 for the perfect Tuxedo trouser to $450 for an ornate Tulle Rose top, the assortment not only includes insane limited edition designs but makes for serious no-brainer investments. We’ve loved every minute of every target collaboration that’s cross our path since the very first GO International campaign years ago…but this one definitely takes the cake. Starting on Sept. 13th Target will introduce their biggest collab to date – 400 pieces from the house of Missoni – women’s, men’s, kid’s AND EVEN housewares. Die.

We’ve recently been talking a lot about our new found love of interiors and how our shopping addiction has dangerously expanded in to home decor…well if you’re anything like us, you are guaranteed to fall head over heels for our latest obsession, interior designer Nichole Loiacono’s custom furniture. The brilliant furniture designer turned full service decorator takes tattered old vintage pieces and turns them in to true, one-of-a-kind works of art – talk about a statement piece. Whether commissioned to create an ornate chest or choosing to transform thrift store finds in to modern dining chairs for her own home, everything that comes from Loiacono is truly a dazzling gem of the rarest form. After tons of super fun time spent working with brilliant jewelry designer Jennifer Amenta of Jennifer Elizabeth, our collaboration collection is ready for the world and we could not be more excited. You’re probably already familiar with JE as we’re pretty big fans and have been following her work for some time, but for those of you who don’t already know – Jennifer is an uber talented New York based designer who transforms vintage treasures and bits of beautiful antique finds in to modern statements that will last a lifetime. From bohemian glamour to rock n’ roll edge, Amenta creates jewels that easily complete any look and absolutely become the most important part of your closet.
We fall pretty hard for everything about Jennifer’s collection, but it was definitely our shared love of whimsical elements that made for the perfect modern fairytale collection.
