Lookin’ Good SJP
All we have to say is SJP has definitely still got it…wrinkles or not, those legs looks insanely amazing in her fabulous blue Nicholas Kirkwood heels and even though she may not be AS over the top as Carrie Bradshaw, she is definitely as stylish and we have a feeling her closet would make us just as envious. There was a time growing up when pool parties didn’t actually involve swimming…after all teen girls have one priority – looking good – so who could afford to sacrifice perfect hair and makeup? We Heart Grayce & Molly Sims!
We had the incredible opportunity of meeting Miss Molly Sims yesterday as she hosted a gorgeous breakfast at the Bryant Park Hotel in honor of the launch of her e-commerce website, graycebymollysims.com.
During the intimate event, the beautiful and super sweet Molly graciously spoke about everything from important info about the brand: the inspiration behind her collection (her own love of costume jewelry combined with her precious memories of rummaging through her mother’s collection of vintage baubles picked up at southern garage sales) and the meaning behind the name (her mother, also her best friend, always instilled in her the ideal to be graceful and grateful at all times) to privy details: how she really got ex, actor Aaron Eckhart, to photograph her campaign (through the use of the oldest trick in the book – flattery and begging) and her feelings on young women affected by American society (how her heart breaks for girls like Heidi Montag who felt as though she needed 11 surgeries to be beautiful and models who teeter near death due to anorexia and bulimia).
Aside from the interactive conversation about her jewelry, which is beyond beautiful and unbelievably affordable (a top priority of hers is to make beauty easily accessible to all women), we found it fantastically refreshing to see how easy it was to casually chat about anything and everything with the ever-so-genuine multi-talented model turned actress turned designer…a true southern belle, indeed.
The jewelry speaks for itself but meeting the fabulous woman behind the brand and seeing the collection through the eyes of the designer definitely upped the value even more, if that’s even possible. We really do love Grayce and we can’t wait to see what else is yet to come from the wonderful Molly Sims.
