This really is sort of irrelevant to L.L.C. but aside from the fact that we are SO excited for Tim Burton’s 3D version of Alice in Wonderland, we just thought these images of the stars, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter & Anne Hathaway, were such eerily beautiful, ethereal and simply fantastical works of art that we had to share them.

We just got word that the newest H&M guest designer, JIMMY CHOO!, will not only be designing a selection of shoes for the high street chain but will be creating an entire line, we’re talking bags, accessories AND ready to wear! The capsule collection will be revealed on November 14, 2009 and will be released in H&M flagship stores at the same time, with other locations to follow. Ranging in price from $59.99 to $299, not only will the coveted shoes etc. fly off the shelves but what’s more, the pieces will be available at a mere 200 stores worldwide…so you better be prepared to line up early! Good luck and godspeed…in our opinion, it sure is worth they mayhem.

Every season is different, our tastes change, designers’ visions change, the trends change, it is nearly impossible to declare a favorite label, yet we always know that no matter what happens there are two designers that have never and we’re taking a chance in saying WILL never, let us down…Stella McCartney & Frida Giannini, L.L.C. loves you! The two manage to re-invent their runways time after time, keeping up with the ever changing fashion climate while remaining true to their roots, roots which have been inspired by a perfect combination of the three ideas we live & die for, vintage 60’s/70’s glamour, luxe bohemian & a little bit of rock ‘n roll chic. Since Frida came to Gucci and Stella created her namesake brand, things have never been the same, in the best way of course, and this time around they have made us proud once again with their fool-proof Resort 2010 collections. In each, there are immaculately crafted pieces that can be used to create any look from boyish casual to glam-rock goddess, offering something for everyone AND revealing recession-proof investment pieces that can be used over and over again in so many endless ways. We heart you S & F!

At first we weren’t sure about the daring Louis Vuitton art-work outfit Leighton Meester recently sported to the Costume Institute’s “Model as Muse” Gala, but as the pictures of her began popping up in front of us daily, the look kind of grew on us…just like the Spice Girls created a love hate/relationship that changed our lives back in the 90’s with “Wannabe”, it’s obvious LV knows just how to shock you into obsessing over something you thought you despised…Leighton’s leggings have inspired us and so we have looked into it and brought you the best of the best in fabulously disgusting printed leggings!

We’ve always loved the crisp, classy feel of wearing white from head-to-toe and now that Memorial Day is long gone, despite the chilly, not so summer, feel we’re getting from this crazy weather, we can finally whip out our fave super-chic look, the White Suit! The classic has been updated a million times in a million ways and in 2009 nothing is out of the question…from the super classic style seen at Chanel to Francisco Costa’s futuristic structural version for Calvin Klein, even the celebs are sporting all different variations this season. Try a boyfriend blazer with short shorts or extra wide-leg pants with a shrunken jacket, anyway you slice it, you’ll be cool, comfy and totally dapper this summer in a snow white suit.
We love Stella McCartney & Bamford versions, available at net-a-porter of course!
