Miranda Kerr is going high fashion and of course she made the most important decision of her career in doing so with V Magazine. Who better to launch her high fashion career than the magazine that creates a true work of art through each and every editorial. Check out Miranda, photographed by Willy Vanderperre, in stylist Olivier Rizzo’s postmodern pinup, “Pin Me Up, Pin Me Down” also featuring model Ana Beatriz Barros. For more check out V Magazine’s Issue #62.

We do love tats BUT only if they’re not cheesy, trashy, tacky, tasteless OR totally cliché, which unfortunately has become more difficult to achieve than one would think. These new hot spot tattoos, however, are just that…they are seriously JUST PLAIN HOT!
Just as we’re gearing up for Fall Shopping, a time that’s always much anticipated, our favorite labels are of course releasing previews of their S/S 2010 collections! It is because of Acne’s interpretation of what’s ahead, complete with the perfect infusion of unforgettable trends like fringe adorned suede, watercolor tie-dye, ornate beaded embroidery and of course tone on tone color blocking, that has succeeded in capturing our distracted minds and preparing us for the fabulosity that will be Spring ‘10! The molten metal knee and shoulder pads are just, beyond. Leave it to the Swedish masterminds to create a line built on glamorously boyish, futuristic hippies. Check out more from the amazing Acne. L.L.Love.

We have been following Miroslava Duma for a short time now yet it seems that each time we see her we love her more and more…though she looks like a mere teenager, this 24 year old Russian “It” girl is a special projects editor for Harper’s Bazaar Russia and has already made quite a name for herself as a trendsetter in the industry. Aside from the fact that she’s painfully beautiful, her chameleon like sense of style, daringly strolling the streets in everything from Bonaru Rocker-chic to Vintage Edie Bouvier Beale-inspired, has enabled her to display every aspect of personality through her clothing, an idea every fashionista should strive for. We love you Miroslava!

At first we weren’t sure about the daring Louis Vuitton art-work outfit Leighton Meester recently sported to the Costume Institute’s “Model as Muse” Gala, but as the pictures of her began popping up in front of us daily, the look kind of grew on us…just like the Spice Girls created a love hate/relationship that changed our lives back in the 90’s with “Wannabe”, it’s obvious LV knows just how to shock you into obsessing over something you thought you despised…Leighton’s leggings have inspired us and so we have looked into it and brought you the best of the best in fabulously disgusting printed leggings!
1) C Neeon Lhasu Leggings – $117
2) Basso & Brooke Floral Leggings – $455
3) Alexander McQueen Crystal Print Leggings – $845

We know Mischa used to be a style icon & we know she followed that with quite a stint on the Worst Dressed List but what we didn’t know until very recently is that she’s been back and she is looking better than ever! Hopping around town, often with her BFF Matthew Williamson, and more often in his clothing (even rocking his H&M line more than a few times) Miss Barton has been showing us why we loved her in the first place…her signature Brit Hipster meets Luxe Bohemian look is definitely one for the inspiration notebook (we know you keep one and if you don’t than shame on you)! Check her out and start to follow again…

One generation of stars always leads to another…in this case, the legends of rock have bred more than just pretty face princesses, these girls are stars in their own right, leading the indie fashion revolution and setting the trends, standing right there next to the designers for which they all muse!
Daisy Lowe – British model & first born child of the dreamy Gavin Rossdale, lead singer of Bush and hubby to the fabulous fashionista/designer/singer Gwen Stefani.
Riley Keough – Daughter of Lisa Marie & Granddaughter of the original king of rock himself, Elvis Presley. Began starring as the face of international Dior campaigns at the ripe old age of 15.
Georgia Jagger – The youngest daughter of Mick Jagger and second wife, model Jerry Hall, 16 year old is new on the scene, just signing her first modeling contract this year, and is sure to be popping up everywhere very soon.
Theodora & Alexandra Richards – Model and DJ/Artist respectively, the two stunning sisters are the daughters of The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards and actress Patti Hansen. They have been making a name for themselves for some time now and have only become more beautiful, more stylish and more known with time.

It is absolutely baffling that Diane Kruger is still somewhat under the radar in the fashion world. The drop dead gorgeous actress and long time arm candy of Joshua Jackson is the true meaning of a style chameleon, a real-life Carrie Bradshaw. With every seamless look, from timeless Dior to androgynes YSL to ultra-glam Chanel Haute Couture and everything in between, Kruger executes every detail with the utmost fabulous intuition. Hair, makeup, accessories, she pulls everything together impeccably well, pulling off the most forward pieces without thought and adding just the right twist to the most classic. Her perfect little body sure doesn’t hurt, but it’s her innate sense of style and fearless attitude, again, a true Miss CB, that makes her L.L.C.’s current muse!

Of course we all know Jane Birkin as the namesake of the forever wait-listed Hermes Birkin Bag. Yet in addition to being a drop dead model & actress, style icon and muse to designers, artists, musicians, photographers & the like, the infamously outrageous Jane Birkin is also mother to current indie sweetheart Lou Doillon. Known to be seen in top hats and make androgynous clothing somehow seem soft, ethereal and edgy all at once, Lou has certainly followed in her mother’s footsteps, establishing an independent, highly coveted style and modeling for Givenchy, V Magazine and the Pirelli Calendar, among others. It was all to be expected though, having inherited everything from Birkin’s sultry lips which instantly turn into an unmistakable, giant smile, to her smashing waif body and gorgeous bang-bearing locks. To get their brilliant, timeless looks, mix vintage bohemian pieces with opulent glam rock accessories and add a signature detail that you never leave home without, whether it be blunt bangs, red lips or a cheeky top hat, own your look and let it inspire others!
Everyone who knows me knows I’ve stood by the fabulous Nicole Richie through all of her unbelievably diverse phases. I was a fan back in the day when she was a pudgy pucci head scarf wearing farmer princess and I am still her biggest fan now that she is a toned down, under the radar, focused on family momma. Witty, sassy, chic and definitely one-of-a-kind, Ms. Richie has been an inspiration since my kate spade backpack days. An avid follower of all things NR, my favorite shoot has always been the Twiggy inspired retro girl with heavy charcoal-lined eyes peering out a cardboard box, created for 944 mag back in 2005. Until now. Blackbook’s new futuristic, lady gaga like spread kicks 944’s cute little throwback ass, and no one could rock it like Nic. Of course Stephen Sprouse’s neon LV leggings and Miu Miu’s colorblock sequin bomber don’t hurt one bit.
